I've built the neck and done some very picky finish sanding, surface prep and detailing to get George's Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood Baritone ready to bring to Addam Stark for another of his expertly applied nitrocellulose lacquer finishes. Once the finish is applied, I'll glue the bridge down. The bridge needs to be glued to bare wood though for a strong bond, so you can see that I've used a thin adhesive film called Frisket film to mask off the bridge footprint. I've wiped on a little naptha for a couple of the pictures so that you can get a preview of how beautiful the curly figured koa will look on the rosette and the armrest bevel. Can't wait to play it! :)
