Andre's 7-String Concert Nylon is Ready for Lacquer

During the last week I've built the neck for Andre's 7-String Concert Nylon. This instrument will feature an extra bass string that will play a low A or low B. In order to have good tension on the low string it's very helpful to have a longer string, which is why the bass strings on this instrument are longer than the trebles. This system is often called a multi-scale design. The back of the neck has real slim shoulders so that the extra width of the fingerboard will not feel so unfamiliar. Next this guitar will go to my friend and colleague Addam Stark, who does an expert job with the the finishes on all of my instruments.
