It's been a very productive week working on Andre's 7-String Concert Nylon. I completed the lattice bracing structure by sanding a dome into the height of the overall lattice structure, so that the top would be relatively more flexible around the perimter of the lower bout. I also use thin veneer to cap off and reinforce the lattice struts running in the direction with the upward-facing lap joints. I've also braced the back, assembled the top back and rim, installed the binding, and completed a first round of finish sanding. Tomorrow I'll start work on the neck.
