I've completed the soundbox of Cliff's Cedar/Brazilian Classical, the first of a new model I'm very excited to be introducing. I'm using a lattice bracing design coupled with a very thin soundboard, an idea pioneered by some of today's great Australian classical guitar makers. I'm really enjoying combining the traditional form of the classical guitar with this idea, the Ryan Armrest Bevel, and my own rosette. Of course it never hurts when you're able to use an especially lovely set of Brazilian rosewood. Next I'll be moving on to the neck. More soon! :)
