Happy Birthday for Andre's 7-String Concert Nylon Crossover! This instrument puts out a big dramatic sound all the way from that low A on the 7th string to the high C on the 1st. It's very powerful in all registers and has a very rich tone. Andre and I decided on a multi-scale neck geometry, allows for the bass strings to have a longer scale length in order to provide very good string tension on the low notes. On this instrument the scale length on the treble edge of the fingerboard is 26.25" and on the bass edge it's 28.25". The back of the neck is profiled with very slim shoulders so that the width required to accommodate 7 strings feels surprisingly comfortable. Andre, I can't wait for you to have a chance to play this...I think you will be very pleased! :)
