Cliff's cedar and Brazilian rosewood classical guitar is ready for finish. Yesterday I very carefully finish sanded and detailed every surface of the instrument. This guitar combines the traditional classical form with some more modern developments. The soundboard is braced with a lattice pattern of struts, an innovation from Australian classical builders that allows the top-bracing system to be lighter. It also features the Ryan armrest bevel which provides greater comfort and mobility for the player's right arm as it rests over the guitar. This will be the first classical guitar to come out of my shop and I can't wait to play it. Comin' up soon, Cliff! :)
