Jeff's Sitka Spruce and Brazilian Rosewood Arena OM is off to a great start. Jeff came by for a visit earlier this year and together we went through my entire inventory of woods. After a great deal of chin-scratching and looking back and forth Jeff chose these woods. Good choices, I think! The Brazilian rosewood has really colorful quartersawn grain, and the spruce has some nice bearclaw figure to it. The binding and rosette will be koa. The fingerboard and brige will be cocobolo. Jeff has chosen a few special options for this guitar, a Ryan armrest bevel, a multi-scale fingerboard and bridge with scale lengths 25.5"-26.25", a side soundport, and a cutaway.

I think will really like that scale length. My 25.75 to 26.5 is great in Standard down to C tunings...
