Over the last week I've made the neck and bridge for Jeff's Sitka Spruce and Brazilian Rosewood Arena OM. The fingerboard and headplates are of cocobolo wood, as is the bridge which I finished yesterday morning. This guitar has many custom options, including the multi-scale geometry, bringing up the tension slightly on the bass strings. Today I did a final round of finish-sanding and fine detailing and surface preparation. Tomorrow I'll be dropping it off to Addam Stark. I'm fortunate that Addam and I work just a few miles apart; guitar makers from all around the western hemisphere are sending their guitars to Addam, or driving hundreds of miles, for his incredibly fine lacquer finish work.
