This morning I completed a first round of finish-sanding on Jeff's Sitka Spruce and Brazilian Rosewood Arena OM. In one of these pictures I've wiped on a little naptha to show off the very luminescent piece of koa I used on the Ryan armrest bevel. Assembling the bevel so that the woods match nicely and the purfling lines flow continuously is a tricky bit of carpentry, but it's fun to do, and the comfort of the end result is well worth the extra effort. Next I'll starting the neck...more soon! :)
