Now I've started a Mark's Sitka Spruce and Brazilian Rosewood 8-String Guitar/Bass, which will have two extra bass strings, thus extending the range of the instrument all the way down into bass territory. You may notice the headblock is extra wide, in order to support a neck that will be 3" wide at the neck/body joint. This instrument is going to have several unique design elements to it and I'll be pointing them out along the way in the coming weeks. That's some real pretty Brazilian rosewood eh?
